Getting Prepared For T12

How And When Should My Athlete Arrive?

Your athlete should arrive 30 minutes early, stretched and ready to play.

What Should My Athlete Expect?

Your athlete should expect to be challenged both physically and mentally at their T12 Showcase! Your athlete should expect honest feedback!

More than anything, your athlete should arrive ready and happy to compete, learn, and grow!

What Should My Athlete Bring?

Basketball (Clearly Marked)

Water Bottle

Snack

Appropriate Athletic Apparel (T12 Jerseys Will Be Provided)

Positive Attitude

T12 Showcases can last up to 6 hours. To perform at a high level, your athlete should hydrate before, during, and after the event. Food will not be served and not all gyms have vending machines or concession stands, so athletes are permitted to bring snacks and will have short breaks throughout the event to eat and drink.

There can be as many as 100 athletes at a T12 Showcase (depending on gym size) and much of the event will engage everyone simultaneously--especially the skills training. With that, every athlete should plan on bringing their own basketball. For the security of your basketball, all athletes are encouraged to clearly mark their ball with their name and be aware of the ball's location as they move about the gym. T12 operators are not responsible for athletes' basketballs.

What Is Required Of Spectators?

Support your athlete with positive words from a distance. Do not distract or coach your athlete. Remain in the designated spectator area; do not enter the court.
